Prescription Orthotics - Foot Levelers

Prescription orthotics look like insoles, but are biomechanical medical appliances that are custom made to correct your specific foot imbalance. Orthotics work on your feet much like glasses work on your eyes – they reduce stress and strain on your body by bringing your feet back into proper alignment. Orthotics fit into your shoes as comfortably as an insole – and they have the advantage of having been made from precise imprints of your foot. Properly made orthotics are custom molded to the support requirements of your feet. They help restore the normal balance and alignment of your body by gently correcting foot abnormalities.

Foot Levelers orthotics are called something different because they are something different. Foot Levelers' Spinal Pelvic Stabilizers are shoe inserts that support all three arches in your feet, thereby creating a stable foundation upon which to build proper body posture. Spinal Pelvic Stabilizers are “Made for the feet, but designed for the body.”

Custom-made Foot Levelers are individualized to stabilize your spine and pelvis by correcting imbalances in your feet— the foundation of your skeletal system. These imbalances may occur even if you’re not experiencing foot pain. Though they may go unnoticed, these imbalances contribute to postural misalignments, pain in areas throughout your body and fatigue.

Foot Levelers custom designs their stabilizers through an impression or imaging process used at Orono Chiropractic. First, you step into a foam casting kit or get a digital foot scan which

captures an exact impression of your feet while you are standing, with your full weight on your feet. Dr. Arsenault will determine which style is appropriate for you, and then the kit or scan is sent to the laboratory where the stabilizers are created to correct any imbalances found in the three arches of your feet. Your new Foot Levelers will be sent to Dr. Arsenault, who will show you how to wear and care for them.

Each Ultra Stabilizer contains:

  • Shock-absorbing Zorbacel® at heel strike
  • StanceGuard™ for full weightbearing support during midstance
  • Propulsive Propacel™ at toe-off
